First time at NewSong?

Have you ever walked into a new place where you don't know anybody and no one makes the effort to talk to you?

Here at NewSong, we're aware of how daunting that can be for people who visit a church for the first time, and so we have a well established Welcome Team. Each week the team consists of a Welcome Host, a Greeter and a Car Park Attendant.

The Car Parking Attendant will probably be the first person to greet you when you arrive, and they'll direct you to a place where you can park near the church buidling.  See here for a plan of the parking areas close to NewSong.  (If you have difficulty walking or dealing with steps, please tell the Car Parking Attendant - there are a number of car parking spaces reserved close to a level-access doorway leading directly into the building).

Our friendly Greeter will meet you at the door and they greet everyone personally, handing them a copy of the current newsletter with the events happening in church that week.  If this is your first visit to NewSong our Welcome Host will then take over inside the building. They'll give you a special Welcome Pack and make sure you get a fresh cup of coffee or a cold drink. They'll find you a good place to sit (not at the front!) and they'll also introduce you to a someone else in the church who will give you whatever information you need to ensure your first visit to NewSong is a pleasant one!
