Christmas Hampers
 In recent years NewSong Community Church has given away an increasing number of food hampers at Christmas and we hope that this year will be no exception!
We really want to bless all those to whom we distribute hampers; it's a really great way for us all to show Jesus' love in a practical way to those in our community who may struggle at this time of year.
We aim for each hamper to contain the following items:
Christmas pudding, mince pies, iced fruit cake or chocolate log, a savoury assortment, chocolates, chocolate biscuits, gravy granules, sage and onion stuffing, instant custard powder, cranberry sauce, non-alcoholic drink and Christmas crackers. A turkey and vegetables will also be added separately.
In addition we'll also be including a copy of Nicky Gumbel's booklet 'Why Christmas?' in each hamper.
We're aiming to give away 200 hampers this year and you are invited to help in any way you feel able! The cost of purchasing the contents of a whole hamper will be approximately £20, and you should feel free to give as much or as little as you are able.
There are so many ways in which you can help! Firstly, please pray for the success of the project this year and then you can also tick the boxes:
Pledge a money donation towards the cost of a part or whole hamper to the value of: £
Buy the items for a (whole or part) hamper yourself and give them to us
Help us in the shopping process for hamper contents
Help us sort the donated items and pack the hampers
Pay for the 'Why Christmas?' booklets (approx £60)
Assist us at church giving out hampers on 23rd December
Assist us in delivering hampers to the local area on 23rd December
