Why NewSong Community Church Exists

First of all - Is this the church?

No, this isn't the church.  This is just the building in which the church currently meet!

This is the church!

The church is the group of people who meet in the building above!

Now, down to business!

The church as a concept is in God's plan.  Belonging to a church is a vital element of the Christian life and a key to fruitfulness and blessing in our lives. In turn, we can then be a blessing to others.  We believe that a strong church has always been God's plan, and that it is the start of the answer both for our local situation, and for the world.

The Holy Spirit is challenging us all to live lives that reflect the goodness of Jesus. He wants us to lead people into wonderful lives, lived with a very real, caring and loving God.  One way for us to do this is to live our own lives in such a way that people who don't yet know Jesus will discover a new and exciting life with Jesus for themselves as they live, work, play, worship and pray with us, both individually and collectively within His church.

The task of each individual in our church is to take a personal responsibility for identifying, encouraging, leading and helping people who don't yet know Him, into a new life with Jesus. The life of NewSong Community Church is geared towards this end, so that we, and they in turn, can live the life that God has prepared for us all.
