Alpha is an exciting journey exploring the meaning of life! Your life! More than one and a half million Britons have taken part in the Alpha course nationally and we offer you an invitation to join us at NewSong and take part in our next Alpha course.
The Christian message is sometimes written off by people who've never even explored below the surface, as boring, untrue and irrelevant; yet many of those same people have a growing and deep spiritual hunger; a longing to explore the big questions of life. Millions of people around the world are now exploring the claims of Jesus for themselves and one of the ways to do this is through the Alpha Course.
What happens at Alpha?
Alpha is a relaxed, non-threatening, low-key and friendly experience. Each of the 10 weekly sessions is relaxed and informal, involving a light meal, a talk and then a discussion exploring questions like: Who is Jesus? Why did he die? How and why do we pray? How does God guide us? You can ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
Who should come to Alpha?
Alpha is open to everybody but especially those wanting to investigate Christianity for themselves, perhaps new Christians or newcomers to the church. It's also great for those who feel they need to brush up on the basics of Christianity.
How do I join an Alpha Course At NewSong?
