Psalm 81

 

A song to our strong God! A shout to the God of Jacob!  Anthems from the choir, music from the band, sweet sounds from lute and harp, trumpets and trombones and horns: it's festival day, a feast to God!   (The Message Bible)

The message for us all in Psalm 81 is that music is a good way to express our praise, worship and thanksgiving to God!  For this very reason music is an important aspect of the worship at NewSong Community Church. 

 
The music at NewSong is both lively, up-beat and contemporary, whilst also being capable of intense drama and emotion when the setting calls for it. The aim is for the sort of sound and depth of quality you might hear on any popular radio station, played by our talented in-house band and guest musicians.
