Family

Married to Graham since November 2000.

How long at NewSong?

Since November 2002.

Why NewSong?

I want my Church to be close by and a place where I can be encouraged, challenged and inspired and NewSong does that.

Testimony

I was brought up in a Christian family so I learnt about God at an early age but it wasn't until I was 14 that I made my own conscious decision to be committed to Jesus. I could not have imagined at that time where I would be now but looking back I can see God's guidance, faithfulness and compassion woven throughout my life.

Favourite Scripture Verse

Isaiah 6.

I love that image of the power, holiness and forgiveness of God and that he chooses to send us:

---------------------------

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

      "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."

4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

Bookshelf and Film Favourites

I hate predictable endings and pointless characters. I like to be motivated, intrigued and entertained I'm also not adverse to the odd explosion or car chase. As long as it hits me between the eyes in the first 10 mins or twenty pages I'll stick with it.

Most proud of

There is no one thing

I want to be remembered for

Knowing, speaking, living for and demonstrating the truth - You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
